DESCRIPTION:
Ithaca Calendar Clock Co., Ithaca, NY, "3 1/2 Parlor" shelf clock with an E. N. Welch spring driven 8 day time and strike movement with a patented perpetual calendar mechanism in a walnut case with ebony trimmings and a customized wall shelf (modern) in the style of the clock case.
CONDITION:
The walnut case is in very good condition. It has been refinished and the black ornamentation treated with black paint or a new finish coating. The time dial inner bezel and the time and strike hands have been painted silver. Both the time dial and the calendar dial are in very good condition. The calendar door glass is original. The hands are original. The movement is signed.
